John likes telling stories. Whether it’s bedtime stories for his kids, career stories for Automotive Hall of Fame inductees, or product stories squeezed into a 30 second window, John uses his talents to enrich each story and make it unforgettable. A 30+ year advertising and video production veteran, John has been honored with every industry award, including an Emmy and the coveted Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. John led production at many of the global advertising firms, and directed and produced video content for Autoweek before establishing One Better Productions. A versatile producer, he has worked with a variety of clients in automotive, food, furnishings and health & beauty segments. He has produced and directed a range of video content for broadcast, web and tablet platforms, including episodic television.

Keir Yee

You would be hard pressed to find a more affable guy than Keir Yee. Always smiling, Keir is a Macgyver in the world of production. Originally a producer at Leo Burnett Advertising, Keir’s true passion is lighting, shooting and directing. Keir has a keen eye for lighting subtleties and a deft hand at the camera and editing keyboard. Keir brings his many talents to One Better Productions, and our clients truly benefit from his insights and expertise.

The epic shot. As a cinematographer, it is what you constantly strive for. Putting yourself in the right place, at the right time with the right equipment. Josh has the unique ability to put himself in that position, and has done so many times, creating stunning imagery for hundreds of clients. Josh also knows how to weave those shots into the fabric of a story through his editorial prowess. We do our best to keep Josh out of harm’s way when he is going for a shot as he is not afraid to push the limits to capture another great scene.
